1. Who we are
AskProGambler is operated by AskProGambler Sdn Bhd (Reg: 202101234567), a Malaysian-registered company headquartered at Jalan Kota Laksamana, 75200 Malacca, Malaysia.

2. What we collect
You give us:
- Email address — when you subscribe to The AskProGambler Brief or contact us
- Name & message — when you fill our contact form or file a Trust Center case
- Case evidence — for Trust Center, you may upload screenshots, casino correspondence, transaction IDs
Automatically collected when you visit:
- IP address (for security and rough geo-location)
- Browser type, OS, device
- Referring URL (which page or search engine sent you)
- Pages viewed and time on each page
3. Why we collect it
- To deliver our service — show you reviews, run the Trust Center, send the newsletter you subscribed to
- To improve the site — anonymous analytics tells us which articles are useful and which aren't
- To prevent fraud — detect bots, scrapers, and abusive traffic
- To meet legal obligations — PDPA Malaysia, GDPR, and tax law require us to keep some records
4. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies for three purposes:
- Essential — keeping you logged in (admin), session security, CSRF protection. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — Plausible Analytics (privacy-respecting, no personal data, no cross-site tracking). You can opt out via the cookie banner.
- Affiliate tracking — when you click "Visit Casino", a cookie is set by the affiliate network to attribute your signup. You can clear cookies anytime.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any retargeting/advertising trackers. See our full Cookie Policy.
5. Who we share data with
We share only with these categories:
- Hosting provider (Hostinger, Lithuania/EU) — runs our servers. They see traffic logs but no personal data beyond IP.
- Email service (Mailgun, EU) — when you subscribe, your email is stored there for newsletter delivery.
- Trust Center mediation — when you file a case, we share only the information needed with the casino's compliance team. We always ask permission first.
- Law enforcement — only if compelled by Malaysian court order. We've never received one.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing.
6. Your rights
Under PDPA Malaysia and GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction — fix inaccurate information
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdrawal of consent — unsubscribe from emails anytime
- Portability — get your data in a machine-readable format
- Complain — to the Personal Data Protection Department (JPDP) of Malaysia
To exercise any of these, email privacy@askprogambler.com. We respond within 14 days.
7. How long we keep data
- Newsletter email — until you unsubscribe
- Trust Center cases — 7 years (legal requirement, anonymised after 2 years)
- Server logs — 90 days, then auto-deleted
- Analytics — aggregated only, no personal retention
8. Children
AskProGambler is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete the records immediately.

If we materially change this policy, we'll post a notice on the homepage 30 days in advance. Minor wording changes are not announced. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of this page is always accurate.
